Mystére

The vessel, originally built at the Baldwinsville Boat Works facility was purchased from Old Forge Cruise Lines in Old Forge New York, and began its relocation process in December of 2007.

After nearly a month of travel over the highways of New York the vessel finally arrived at her new home port in Baldwinsville in January 2008 to begin her refit and complete renovation on her way to being renamed Mystère.

The extensive renovations involved the complete disassembly of all her internal systems and fittings in order to update her systems, completely inspect her hull and structures, and to obtain a completely new upgraded class of Coast Guard Certification. Extensive ultrasonic inspections of her hull confirmed her hull to be almost like new and new fittings, systems and trim bring her to completely modern, updated standards. Her new certifications and modifications allow Mystére to ply the waters of the lake upgraded and fully capable of handling the larger open waters. Mystére's upgrades include:

• A new water cooled 11.5kW Cummins/Onan generator

• The wheel house has be lifted by 8 inches
• A new radio communications system
• A new precision Raymarine radar for weather and vessel traffic

• New hydraulic systems
• A new electrical system
• A new fire suppression system
