Erie Canal History Excursion
Guests will be treated to an in-depth history lesson in this package. The perfect combination of history,
leisure and luxury.
Guided tour at the Erie Canal Museum in Downtown Syracuse
The Museum is housed in the historic Syracuse Weighlock Building which was built in 1850 for the purpose
of weighing canal boats and collecting tolls. This building is the only one of its kind remaining in the world.
Guests are provided a guided tour of the Erie Canal Museum and exhibits. Museum includes:
- A full size replica of an Erie Canal line boat. Crews quarters, cargo and passenger areas are reproduced.
Surround sound displays describe life on the Erie Canal. A full replica of an original canal packet boat.
- An Erie Canal weighmaster calculated the tolls that a boat captain paid. The Syracuse Weighlock Building
weighmaster's office was restored in 1985. The office desk is an authentic mid-1800's desk used in the Rochester
Weighlock office.

Mid-Week Lunch Cruise (12:30-2:30PM)
After your memorable experience at the Canal Museum you will be taken aboard the Mystère for a 2
hour narrated tour highlighting points of interest along the route all while enjoying outstanding food and
service aboard the Mystère. Crew members will continue to provide insight into the history of the area and
rich history and intrigue of the canal. During your trip you will also experience locking though lock E-23,
the busiest lock on the entire New York State Canal System.
Choice of hot or cold lunch served sit down or buffet style.

Glitter and Glitz at the Turning Stone Casino (??- 4:00PM)
Turning Stone Casino awaits your clients. The award-winning Turning Stone Resort and Casino is in the heart of Central New York's
beautiful Mohawk Valley. Your guests will be enthralled in this action-packed playground, offering gaming excitement at both classic
games of chance and today's most popular specialty games. Once your guests have had their full of luck and chance,
a short trip will bring you to the beautifully restored Mystère.
2 1/2 hr Dinner Cruise (5:30PM – 8:00PM)
After you have experienced the thrill of Turning Stone and are ready for a relaxing dinner watching exquisite sunsets a motor coach
will take you to the door of the Mystère. Our crew will welcome you aboard for a 2 ½ hr tour of the Erie Canal Section of the NY State Canal.
Once aboard not only will you experience locking though lock E-23, the busiest lock on the entire New York State Canal System, you will be
treated to a three course meal that you will rave about for months to come.
Dinner includes a selection from the largest, broadest menu of any dinner cruise in New York, coffee, hot tea, iced tea, dessert
and one complimentary cocktail on the Captain. A cash bar is also available.
Business Hospitality Package
After a full day of meetings and formal client interaction business travelers seek something which represents the region they are in.
Something of a local flavor, something to remember besides names and dates. Working together we can bring this level of experience to your guests.
Once the meetings have concluded a motor coach can pick up the guests and bring them to the door of the Mystère. Once aboard they can relax,
enjoy the views and experience exceptional service. After the cruise, the motor coach will return the guests to their hotel for the night.
If an evening is not the best time for an excursion perhaps an afternoon tour, or a Sunday brunch is the answer. If the guest is traveling
to the area on their own, it is a simple and easy trip to the Mystère where they can unwind and rejuvenate while enjoying some of the finest
scenery in the region.
